Semi-private theatre

A shared cinema, built like a private one.

Not open to the public, but a premium shared amenity — like a gym or a pool — that happens to be a proper cinema.

The brief

Used by many.
Considered like a room
used by one.

A semi-private theatre is a cinema for the people who use a space — the residents of an apartment building, the team in an office, the members of a club. Not open to the public, but a premium shared amenity, like a gym or a pool, that happens to be a proper cinema.

We design, integrate, build and calibrate it end-to-end — so a room used by many still feels considered, premium and effortless to run. One studio. One accountability.

The process

Four stages. No shortcuts.

Every screening room we build follows the same sequence: we design the space, engineer the technology, build and install, then calibrate. Each stage feeds the next — and because the room is shared, we plan for simple booking, one-touch control and low-maintenance operation from day one.

01

Design

The room first: proportion, sightlines, acoustics, light and materials, drawn as one document.

02

Engineer

The technology second, specified against the room that exists rather than a catalogue.

03

Build

Construction, treatment, installation and finish, coordinated by the studio that drew it.

04

Calibrate

Sound, picture, light and control measured and set in the finished room, then signed off.
